Singing-based software program
Funded by the MN Legislature, the Rock ‘n’ Read Project conducted a five-year statewide project implementing Tune into Reading (TiR), a singing-based software with 2500 2nd through 5th grade students in 25 schools. Data analysis found that after singing songs repeatedly while being rewarded for singing in rhythm and in-tune for 14 hours, students gained one year (avg.) in reading.
